Obituary of Jerry Alan Luz

April 15, 1947 – November 8, 2018
Jerry Alan Luz was called home to his savior surrounded with arms of love on November 8, 2018.
He was born in Pittsfield, Mass. and went to school in Kentucky, received his Master’s Degree from the College of New Jersey. He retired after 34 years of teaching health and physical education in New Jersey.
Jerry and Pat moved to Florida ten years ago and since have been involved in their community. He was a member of Azan Shrine and Palm Bay Lodge #397. He enjoyed his days of carving very beautiful ducks and birds. He loved hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Luz; his son, Jerry (Danielle), Gregory (Jessica); stepson, Michael Palinczar; his grandsons, Dalton, Raleigh, Maxwell, Cooper, Zaire and granddaughter, Madisyn.
He is predeceased by his parents Arnold and Rosalina (Costa).
Funeral Mass will be celebrated November 30th, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 N. Hwy. A1A, Indialantic. A celebration of Life with Military and Masonic services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Azan Shrine Center, 1591 W. Eau Gallie Blvd., Melbourne.
