Obituary of Thomas Raymond Roberge
MELBOURNE, FL- Thomas Raymond Roberge, 68, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, after a year long battle with cancer. Born in Lewiston, Maine in 1950, he moved to Melbourne in 1995.
He joined the Army National Guard in 1969 and later joined the Air National Guard and retired in 1991. He worked at Noyes Tire Company and M&P Auto Salvage Yard for many years before moving to Florida. Upon moving to Florida, he worked for LKQ Salvage Yard until he retired in 2013.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Shriners, the American Legion, and an auxiliary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He leaves behind his wife of 47 years Doris Blanchette Roberge, his daughter Janine (Michael) Daggett of Indiana, granddaughter, Megan, his brothers John (Paula) Roberge of New Hampshire, James (Denise) Roberge of Greene, Michael (Gina) Roberge of Florida, and sisters Patricia Roberge of Lisbon Falls and Jane (Donald) Boilard of Lisbon Falls. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Claudette (Billy) Bazinet of Auburn and brother-in-law Paul (Wanda) Blanchette of Auburn. In addition, he leaves behind several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Roger Roberge and his mother, Constance Roberge.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
