Obituary of Thomas Eugene Gibbar

It is with great sadness we announce that Thomas Eugene Gibbar of Palm Bay, Florida passed at his home the morning of Wednesday, March 6 2019. Thomas was born in Missouri where he learned the meaning of hard work from his elder brothers and sisters. He went on to join the United States Navy and proudly served the country he loved. He met his lifelong love Margaret Anne Goodman and later married her. They would together raise their boys in Waterloo, Illinois. Thomas was a man of God that let his faith guide him on his journey through life. After retiring from General Motors he moved to Palm Bay Florida to enjoy his much earned life of leisure Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Margaret and son Charles Ricky Gibbar. Thomas will be forever missed by those that can only hope to emulate the kindness and love that he has given us all. His loving hand and hearty laugh will be missed by those he left behind, son Timothy Eugene Gibbar, son David Lee Gibbar, and daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren and cherished family and friends. Thomas and his beloved Margaret, will be interred at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, located at 5525 US Highway 1, Mims.
