Obituary of Dorothy Ann Conte

Dorothy Ann Conte, age 88, of Melbourne, Florida passed away in her sleep on Monday, December 10, 2018. She is predeceased by her husband Vincent G. Conte, Sr. Dorothy was born on July 20, 1930 to Raymond and Lillian (Allen) Meade in New York City, New York. Dorothy’s family originally came to the U.S. through Ellis Island, New York as immigrants from Europe. She loved her careers as a Radiology Technician, Homemaker and part Business owner of Leonora Fashions in Hialeah, Fla. Left to mourn her loss is her daughter Leonora “Lee” Conte, her son Vincent G. Conte, Jr and grandchildren Ashley Rose Regalado and Tyler James Conte. Surviving nieces and nephews include Allen Balla, of New Mexico, June Anderson of the pacific northwest, Kenny Meyer or Gainesville, Fla and Phyllis Kelly of Maine. She valiantly struggled over the past seven years with chronic illnesses and physical limitations but more-so-than-not kept a positive approach to everyday. Her dry sense of humor remained until her last day. Dorothy has gone to rest in peace. Mom didn’t make it to 100 years old, as she often spoke of, but she came pretty close. Rest in peace Mama. As per family no service is being planned at this time.
