Obituary of George Albert McClain

George A. McClain, 86, passed away on March 8, 2017. He was born on May 8, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to Edwin & Ruth McClain. He married Jean Forster on March 19, 1949 while in the Navy. After the Navy, he worked 40 years for the CSX Railroad as an engineer. George loved golf and bowling and belonged to the Crane Creek Golf Course, the American Legion and to the Masonic Lodge #420 in Pigeon, Michigan. George was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Lee McClain and his wife Jean. He is survived by sons Michael (Jane), Rick (Brigette) and daughter, Nancy Swartzbaugh (Tom); 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
