Obituary of Grace G. Hockin

Grace G. Hockin, 91, died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Melbourne Terrace. Born in Bloomfield, NJ, she moved to Cocoa, FL, in 1987 from Pt. Pleasant, NJ. A former exc. secretary and homemaker, Grace and her husband Russell were President of the Mr. & Mrs. Club at Our Lady of Lourdes, West Orange, NJ. She was honored as Lady Elk of the Year at the Pt. Pleasant, NJ, BPOE. Grace chaired many events for charities throughout her life and most recently while living at Grand Villa Assisted Living in Melbourne. A loving and devoted Mother, her family includes her son, Russell Hockin, wife Marianne, of Melbourne Beach FL; Grandsons, Jaime Hockin (Jessica), Garrett Hockin of Atlanta GA; Ryan Hockin (Nicole), of Denver CO; Kevin Hockin of LA, CA; and great grandchildren, Travis, Genna Grace, Connelly, Ellie and Alice; niece, Gail Quigley (Bill), of Austin TX. Services are scheduled for Noon (12pm), Tuesday, April 22nd at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1710 Hickory St, Melbourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice, 4450 W.
