I wish I had had a chance to know him better. That was a beautiful Obituary but I was upset to see his son and his namesake missing from it. James H. Vickers Jr. I believe his first born. I’m sure it’s an unfortunate mistake.

Thank you for teaching me how to drive a stick shift and letting me drive ALL THE TIME in your cool vehicles and for the talks and laughs we had while driving, meeting some of your friends at the storage bays, taking me and my dad on a camping trip that I will never forget and that we always laughed about. My deepest condolene goes to his brothers…and dear sister..sons & daughters….grandchildrens & great grandchildrens …. His wife…and all his previous wifes he was married to…. That new him well that had live..laugh..love. ..with him & thier childrens…he was a greatman…really try his best to be with his kids …all his friends enjoy being around him we knew him as a fun person/ sometime mean/ or stubborn. Too….he was not all perfect but he did try….but that was the real natural person he was….plus a hard working man for sure…well known person from palm bay and west melbourne florida we all will miss him dearly that knew him well… We all wanted to wish him happy birthday thou he is gone…before that day so we will celebrate his life. …in memories of him…… Rest in peace jimmy it was time for you to be in heaven jesus is with you now with all your families in heaven you are free to be. In peace. We all will miss you very much…but you are in a better place with all the stars above this earth you had lived here on earth we will set you free. & let. My prayers go out to all who new this awesome fella. West Melbourne will be a changed place knowing ill never walk into 7-11 and see Jimmy getting coffee anymore. I will miss our conversations about four wheeling, families and friends. He always was fun to talk to and hang out with. Very sad to hear the world has lost such a great guy.

I’m so SORRY for you’re LOSS..
Its a loss for so MANY people. He is known & loved by so MANY….
I have known him & his Family most all my life.. Living next door to the Vickers boy’s & all their Cool Cars..
So many great MEMORIES..
He was a good Man and would never think twice about helping someone out.. or lending a hand to anyone in need.. He is and ALWAYS will be part of our Town..
