Obituary of Richard Thomas Sabia

Richard Thomas Sabia, Sr. age 81, of Vero Beach Floria, returned to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 21, 2018. He was born in Naugatuck, Connecticut, on February 18, 1937 to the late Felix (Jack) and Anna Sabia. He is preceded in death by his wife of many years, Joanne and his sister Judy Perillo. He is survived by his first wife, Donna Ehler and their two children, Richard Sabia, Jr. (Maureen) and Nanci DiCarlotonio; stepdaughter, Kelly Godfrey; grandchildren, Shannon Lambino (Dominick), Michael, Tiffany Smith (Chris), Anthony, Brittany and Ryan; great grandchild Ethan; nieces, Delores and Traci; nephew, Todd also step grandchildren, great nieces, nephews and many friends. Richard worked in the industrial industry but retired early to care for his wife. He loved bass fishing, gardening and classic car shows. He loved homemade meals and being with people. He is most known for the love of his family. Catholic Mass will be held at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 13075 US1 Sebastian, Florida on Saturday October 27 at 11 AM. Interment will be held at a later date at St. James Cemetery, 207 Cross Street Naugatuck, Connecticut.
