Obituary of John Fitzgerald Salvo

John Salvo passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23rd at William Child’s Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida. He was the youngest child of Robert “Bobby” and Leona Salvo, born on August 24, 1963 in Hollywood, Florida. He is survived by his brother Stephen (Patty) Salvo, sisters Jayne (Jonathan) Gorham, and Betsy (Peter) Gilbert along with 5 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. John attended Palm Bay High School and worked in the restaurant and construction fields locally. He lived a decidedly and purposefully simple life. John had a great memory and a penchant for telling stories, a trait he got from his Dad. John’s passion was music and he was a talented, self-taught guitarist playing both acoustic and electric guitars. He loved keeping up with current events and debating any number of topics.
