Obituary of William Bloemen

WILLIAM BLOEMEN, age 68 of West Melbourne, Florida, died Thursday, October 30, 2014 at William Childs Hospice House, Palm Bay, Florida. He was born in Lake Dale Carlia, Indiana. A retired civil engineer he served with the US Navy for four years, including three tours of duty in Vietnam. A Selectman and Volunteer Fire Department Chief in Milford, Maine, he was active with the Knights of Columbus and the Boy Scouts of America in Maine and in Florida. His family includes his wife, Valerie Bloemen; son and daughter in law, Scott and Barbara Bloemen of Tampa, Florida; daughter and son in law, Stacey and Travis Fitzgerald of Palm Bay, Florida; brother, Dale Bloemen of New Hampshire; sister, Vivian Albert of Wisconsin; aunt, Mary Frances Babcock of Indiana; and his grandchildren, Cooper, Cameron and Conner Fitzgerald, and Sophia, Lucas and Emily Bloemen. His Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 am on Friday, November 7, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Babcock Street, Palm Bay, Florida.
