Obituary of Fernanda Rego Vendetti

September 18, 1932 ~ July 18, 2018 West Melbourne Fernanda Rego Vendetti, 85, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 12:40 p.m. Born in Providence, Rhode Island she grew up with 4 sisters and one brother. On January 2nd, 1950 she married Arthur Ceasare Vendetti. She started working as a waitress/bartender as well as a jeweler maker while she was living in Rhode Island. She moved to Melbourne, Fl in 1963, she worked at Radiation Inc. as an inspector for 7 years. She later worked at Melbourne High School as a Cashier/Cafeteria Worker until her retirement. She was a loving, caring devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her two sisters Mary Bertoldi and Debbie Lapierre of Rhode Island; two daughters Mary Chadman of Palm Bay, Florida and Theresa Hornbeck of Palm Bay, Florida; two sons Arthur Vendetti of High Point, North Carolina and Robert Vendetti; 8 grandchildren; and 4 Great grandchildren. Calling Hours will be between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24th at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 South Hickory St., Melbourne, 724-2222. Services are scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25th at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church located at 1422 Miller St., Palm Bay, following a graveside service at the same location.
