Obituary of Barbara Lee Robertson

Ms. Barbara Robertson died peacefully on Sunday, December 13, 2015. She was born in Roanoke, VA when the world was at war on November 3, 1943. She was the oldest of four girls. She graduated from Jefferson High school in 1962. Barbara lived and worked in Roanoke until she married in 1981 and moved to Orlando, FL. She loved living in Florida and stayed for two years before she moved back to be with her family. The light of her life, her daughter, was born in 1984. She raised Angelina in Virginia. She was a hard worker and worked full time. While her daughter was young, she went back to college and earned her associates degree in business, which she was very proud of. Barbara longed to be back in Florida. In 2004, she and her daughter returned to Florida and settled in Melbourne, FL. She loved the warm weather and the beach. Barbara worked and retired in Melbourne, moving to Trinity Towers in 2011. She met many friends there that affectionately called her “Barbie”. Her love for life, quirky sense of humor, and open heart made an enduring impression on all she knew. She was funny, generous, and adventurous and we will never stop missing her. She is survived by her daughter Angelina Tierney, of Rockledge, FL, and youngest sister Mary Kemper, of Texas.
