Obituary of Marilyn Monroe Sexmith
Marilyn M. Sexmith, 91, died Monday, July 22, 2019, at home peacefully with Hospice of Health First and in care of her daughters.
Marilyn was born in Bellevue, KY and moved to Florida in 1965 with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Harold in 2002, and two of her daughters. Marilyn enjoyed reading, fishing, boating, playing cards and movie watching. She treasured her church family, plus many friends of Trinity Towers West and VFW.
Marilyn served as PTA President in Miramar, FL, District President of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Auxiliary President of LAVFW Post 4206. Marilyn was an Elder of the Presbyterian Church of the Good Shepherd in Melbourne.
Marilyn is survived by her daughter Nancy Rinehart and her children, Frank Redondo and Marilyn Custer and spouse Matthew, and daughter Anna Ramos and spouse Matthew and their son, Brock; step-children Harold Kuppinger, Gary Sexmith, Maria Hubbard, Cheryl Wedding and Marie Wedding; numerous nephews and nieces including David and Shirlee Moore and Timothy Moore. She has nine grandchildren including Miranda Munjak and Angela Webb, and twenty great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 27th at 12 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church of the Good Shepherd, 810 W. Florida Ave., Melbourne 32901.
In lieu of flowers, it was her wish for donations to be made to her church.
