Obituary of Bernice Wilson

Bernice Wilson,77 of Palm Bay Florida passed from this life peacefully in her sleep on February7, 2017. She was born on March 29,1939 in Savannah, Georgia. And soon after moved to Brooklyn, New York. Bernice was married to the late George Hanlan Wilson for 44 years unti his passing on July1,2015.

She worked for the New York City Department of Social Services for 28 years, retiring as a supervisor. The family permanently relocated from Queens, New York to Palm Bay Florida in 2003.

Bernice would always make sacrifices to ensure that her husband, children and grandchildren were safe, happy and comfortable. She took the time to educate herself on the practice of holistic healing and had a cure for almost every ailment. Survivors include her sons Carl and Eric, her daughter Andria and by marriage:son Winston and daughters Annette and Chelsea. She is also survived by grandchildren: Alexia, Gregory, Daniel, Ariana, Ian, Nichala and a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, Palm Bay, Florida on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 12:00 PM; immediately followed by interment at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay, Florida.
