Obituary of Marshall Whitfield Jenkins
Melbourne–Marsh Jenkins, 67, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, peacefully at his home. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he moved to Satellite Beach in 1965 from Vandalia, Ohio.
He was a proud graduate of Satellite High, The University of South Florida and Florida State University where he earned his Master’s Degree in Mass Communication. He worked at Kennedy Space Center for a number of years with various contractors. He later worked from home as a computer consultant.
He was a loving son and the only child to his parents, Bob and Louise Jenkins and a devoted husband to his wife, Cathy for more than 38 years. He was a fun uncle to three nieces, four grand nephews and two grand nieces. He was a special cousin to Melinda Fryfogle who is the daughter of his mother’s twin sister.
He was a long time member of Suntree United Methodist Church and the Seminole Booster Club.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 26 from 6-8 p.m at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Melbourne. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Friday, September 27 at Suntree United Methodist Church, Wickham Road, Melbourne, followed by interment at Florida Memorial Gardens, US1, Rockledge, Florida.
