Obituary of Larry D. Murrish

Larry D. Murrish, Sr., age 77, passed away Tuesday, February 20th, 2018 at home in Rockledge, FL. Larry was born in Kearney, NE and came to Brevard county in 1970 from Detroit, MI.  He was a veteran of the US NAVY.  He retired as an Engineer in 2010, having worked 40 years at both Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral AFS supporting the Apollo, Shuttle, Atlas, Delta and Titan Space launch programs. He enjoyed a lifelong passion of Bowling and was a private Pilot. He served as a volunteer at the Cape Canaveral AFS Light House following retirement. Surviving Larry are his Sons William (Michelle) Murrish of Colorado Springs, CO and Douglas (Melissa) Murrish of Rockledge, FL. His Grandsons Shane & Shawn Murrish of Colorado Springs, CO, Troy Murrish of Denver, CO and Sidney (Michelle) Murrish of Stafford, VA; Samuel, Benjamin & Nathan Murrish of Rockledge, FL. Larry is preceded in death by his Son Larry D. Murrish, Jr. in 1998.
