Obituary of Joan DeMatteo Walker

Joan DeMatteo Walker, 64, of Viera, Florida passed away on January 18th 2020 at Viera Hospital. Joan was born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey to Joseph and Enid DeMatteo on July 28th 1955. She attended and graduated from Colonia High School in 1973 and then attended bible college for a few semesters. She worked as an elite travel specialist at Adelman Travel for a couple of years. Prior to Adelman, she worked for Adidas, American Express and other travel agency companies throughout her life. She loved reading her bible, gardening, painting, traveling, playing with her dog, spending time with her family and friends, and going to the beach. Joan is survived by her daughters, Nicole, Daria and Melissa, her mother Enid, her grandson Jonathan and her nephews Newman and Geoffrey. She is preceded in death by her father Joseph DeMatteo, her sister Rebecca Merton and grandparents Alfred and Maud Pettit and Vincenzo and Consiglia DeMatteo. Celebration of life will be held at Coastline Community Church on January 25th 2020 at 3pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation, P.O.
