Obituary of Carlisle E. Williams

Carlisle E. Williams, 88, was born and raised in New London, CT. He graduated from Bulkely High School in 1944. He served in the US Army in WWII, attended Boston University and earned a degree from Mitchell College. He worked 35 years at Terry Turbine, relocating to Merritt Island in 1986 where he enjoyed many years of retirement and was active in the Moose Lodge and Cocoa Elks Pinochle Club and was known as Mayor on Polaris St. Carl is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marion Cole; his children, Carla Caudle and Kyle Williams and his wife, Sherry of CT; his daughter-in-law, Rae Williams of Cocoa; his grandchildren, Ben Bargnesi, Dan and Kristin Jutila, Karyn Wyatt, and Kellie Williams of CT; Geoff Williams, Lydia Rollins, Kari Futch, Kristi and Brandon Evans of Cocoa; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Keith. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Palm Bay, (321) 724-2224.Burial will be private.
