Obituary of David A. Van Asdale
On Thursday, November 21, 2019, David A. Van Asdale II, CLU, beloved husband and father of 4 went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, at the age of 74.
He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 28, 1945, the son of Lillian Petersen Van Asdale and Stephen Bowler Van Asdale.
David was a graduate of Crafton High School and Miami University, Oxford Ohio with a BS Degree in Business. He was a man of many interests, loved to hike, sail, fish, adventure and travel. He made sure his life was never dull, surrounding himself with good people who became good friends.
Wherever he lived he participated in charitable organizations, his Church and supported his local community, most recently by serving on the Board of Planning and Zoning for Grant-Valkaria.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Constance Marshall Van Asdale, their four children David A. Van Asdale III (Diane), Amy C. Van Asdale, Michael B. Van Asdale, and Carrie G. Van Asdale Burrows (Richard), their grandchildren, Meghan E. LaCivita (Dante), Jessica M. Van Asdale, Tyler M. Reid, Eric D. and Kyle M. DeWolf, Landon M. and Cooper R. Van Asdale, Richard A., Alexis J. and Sarah C. Burrows and six great-grandchildren, Gianna E., Zane N., Rocco T., Asher A., LaCivita, Layla P. Burrows and Grace M. Givens, all of whom were the loves of his life.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service held Saturday, 1:00 PM on January 11, 2020 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) located at 2010 South Babcock Street, Melbourne, FL 32901.
