Gerard Gabriel Bastien, 87, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016. Gerard was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti on March 24, 1928 to the late Gilbert and Julia Bastien. His family includes his daughter and son in law Fabiola Bastien Douby and Ronald Douby, son and daughter in law Alex Bastien and Vida St. Louis, daughter and son in law Maly Bastien Rosefort and Maxime Rosefort, daughter Myrtha Bastien, daughter Yasmine Bastien; and sons Robert Bastien and Frederic Bastien; sister, Thomassine Bastien; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; related familes Bastien, Auguste, Menuau, Menard and Bariento and many friends. Viewing will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Ammen family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church, 300 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay. A reception will follow the mass at the Hilton Hotel, 200 Rialto Place, Melbourne.
