Obituary of Arlene Mae Geise
Born : Mill Hall, Pennsylvania
February 2, 1930 ~ February 20, 2018
Arlene lived to 88 years of age, she had lived and enjoyed life especially in earlier years.
She was an avid water fanatic. She became a lifeguard when she was young, always swimming like a mermaid, diving and water skiing. Spent much time teaching her daughter and grandson to enjoy the water as well. She also loved to dance. The other thing she enjoyed the most was traveling. She traveled with her daughter and her husband John to Hawaii, Tennessee and several cruises in her later years. During her life the most enjoyed our second home on the St. Lawrence River in the Thousand Islands near the mouth of Lake Ontario. She loved boating, fishing, and of course water skiing. Won fishing contests with the Cape Vincent Chamber , also loved touring around the islands. In their boat.
She had often verbalized how much she wanted to return to Hawaii and possibly live out her life there as she felt it was one of the most beautiful places she had traveled to. Even named her beloved Rottweiler “Kona” after on the Islands visited (I her daughter had already taken her favorite island name “Maui” for our beloved yellow lab.
She was predeceased by her late husband John Geise of 35 years. She is survived her daughter Georgiana M. Wisneski, grandson J. Thomas Hutchens, and great grandchildren Piper Hutchens and Oscar Hutchens.
The joy and excitement that was on her face when she returned home from the hospital a few days before her passing will always stay in my mind. Her friends and c/g’s were also present. A special thanks to Janet Chianese for her support, friendship and dedication during her last few years.
