Obituary of Jo Ann Jeno

Jo Ann Jeno, 60, died peacefully Monday, January 4, 2016 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, FL. She moved to Melbourne from Kansas City, KS in November of 2013. Her family includes her oldest daughter Kelly Ann Sandland, her husband Geoffrey Scott Sandland, and their daughter Sonya Elizabeth Sandland of Melbourne, Fl; her oldest son Paul Lee Kindred, Jr. and his daughters Serina and Arianna Kindred of Adel, IA; her youngest son Christopher Scott Jeno, his wife Erin Jeno, and their two children Emma and Noah Jeno of Kansas City, KS; and her youngest daughter Jessica Marie Schimmer, her husband Brandon Schimmer, and their two children Aiden and Elijah Schimmer of Blue Springs, MO. Jo Ann loved being a mother and a homemaker and was passionate about animals. She was very artistically talented in multiple areas including arts, crafts, picture making, drawing, and cake decorating. One of her proudest accomplishments was the making of her oldest daughter Kelly+óGé¼Gäós wedding cake in 1997, there is a picture included, which was amazing. Jo Ann always had animals and was most recently known for feeding the local squirrels peanuts. When taken shopping, peanuts were the first thing in her cart along with many cans of cat food as she always thought of her animals. Jo Ann had many challenges and struggles throughout her life. One of the most devastating was a brain aneurysm in September of 1997. She suffered a stroke shortly after that left her disabled. Jo Ann never fully returned to the wife and mother that her family knew before her aneurysm and stroke but despite that her family still loved her dearly. Before her stroke, Jo Ann was known for making holidays extra special and memorable for her family, Christmas being one of her favorites. This love for holidays has passed down to her children. Jo Ann also enjoyed socializing. When she was having her good days she had the ability to make you feel like the most special person in the world. During the past two years after moving to Florida from Kansas she quickly developed friendships with her neighbors whom she spent a lot of time with; they enjoyed her company as much as she enjoyed theirs. Jo Ann+óGé¼Gäós death was untimely and tragic.
