Richard and I grew up in St.J and had all the same friends. We have been writing on face book these past few weeks. I knew Simone as well. I wish I knew what happened. I can’t express my sorrow to the family enough. He loved them so much’. My heart aches.

My mom Ann, and I both offer our heartfelt sympathy to the entire family. My wish is that I had met Richard and Simone much earlier in life. Richard was such a great man who impressed me with his strikingly calm demeanor. Beginning with day 1 following our meeting, Richard would make it a point to reach out to me regularly to keep me posted of family happenings. I am privileged to have had the chance to know Richard. May you find comfort and peace in the thought of the happiness that Richard brought to so many, including me.

I worked with Richard for almost 10 years in the Plant Operations Department at Wuesthoff Health Center. Richard did a wonderful job of helping to lead that department. My husband, Robert Scarborough (also a former Wuesthoff employee) remained friends with Richard. Rest In Peace, my Friend, you will be missed!

I did not know Richard by name. I simply called him Sammys dad. Sammy was a stray cat they took care a few years ago. I enjoyed saying hello to him a few times each week as we walked our dog past his home. He will be missed in this neighborhood. God bless the family and kitty!

Being a former associate of Richard I know 1st hand of his calm deminor. The most excited I ever saw him in 8 years of working together, his coment was Oh Hell! He was one of the best bosses I have had in my many years of working, and I will miss his smile and stories. God Bless his Family
