December 11, 1938 – May 31, 2018
On May 31, 2018, Heaven gained an angel. Ruth was born in Passaic, New Jersey on December 11, 1938 to the late Joseph and Ruth (Nelson) Mueller.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was selfless in life and found joy helping others. After their children had grown, she and her husband of 62 years, John, relocated to Florida. Her desire to serve continued through retirement as she spent 16 years working in Publix Supermarkets.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 62 years John H. Hay; daughter Deborah Lynn Lovelle; son Douglas Arthur Hay; son Christopher John Hay; son Michael Lee Hay; son Reginald S. Hay; granddaughters, Tamera, Laura, Rebecca, Kristina and Zoe; grandsons, D.J., Trenton, Carter and Reilly; several Great Grandchildren; siblings, Frankie, David, Donna and many extended family and friends.
