Obituary of Egbert M. Crooks

Mr. Egbert M. Crooks, Sr. passed away on May 8, 2015. He was born in Jamaica, West Indies to James and Kathrine Crooks in 1931. He worked as a nurse’s aide for most of his life. Egbert is survived by his sons, Paul and Egbert, Jr.; daughters, Dawn, Joy and Marcia; four granddaughters and seven grandsons. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Hope A. Barnes and his grandson Kamaal.There will be a public viewing on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 3p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 3p.m. at Ammen Family Cremation & Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road SE, Palm Bay, 321-724-2224. Entombment will follow the funeral service at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida, 32909. The family will have a repass following the entombment at a family home, 1082 Pennsylvania Avenue, NE, Palm Bay, Florida, 32909
