Obituary of Jacqueline Murphy
On Sunday November 16th 2014 we lost our beloved Mother and loving wife, Jacqueline Murphy. Jackie, 73, was born in Brooklyn and lived in West Islip and East Moriches, NY. Upon moving to Melbourne, FL, she owned and operated a desk top publishing business in downtown Melbourne. She also became an advocate of the US Constitution and fought for accurate historical reference in current world history textbooks. Jackie is the daughter of Marion and Anthony Ruggerie (deceased) of Brooklyn and is survived by her husband, Doug Murphy of Melbourne, her twin sister Geri Nilsen of Boca Raton, FL, three children Jeanette Shaver (Don) of Windermere, FL, Bradley Murphy (Starr) of Durham CT and David Murphy(Trish) of Winter Garden, FL and her seven grandchildren.A gathering will be held on Friday November 28, 2014 from 11:30 amGÇô1:30 pm at the Ammen Funeral Home, 1001 South Hickory Street, Melbourne, FL 32901 with a Mass at 2:00 pm to follow at St JosephGÇÖs Miller Street Church, 1425 Miller Street, Palm Bay, FL 32905. Jackie will be buried at the Miller Street Church Cemetery after the Mass.
