Obituary of Dorothy Soliz Ibrahim

Dorothy Soliz Ibrahim passed away peacefully among her sons and family members on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Melbourne, FL. She was born in Galveston, TX on October 20, 1948 to Gloria and Eugene Soliz, the oldest of seven children. She joined the U.S. Navy and while stationed in Italy and Spain, she met and married Nabil Ibrahim. They had two sons, Immon and Kareem. She loved her family and treasured her service to her Country. She loved traveling and karaoke with her friends. Dorothy leaves behind many friends and family. She is survived by her sons, Immon and Kareem, with their father, Nabil Ibrahim of Melbourne; her grandson, Marcelo; her mother, Gloria Briano of Bryan, TX; her siblings, Gloria and her husband, Ignacio Sauceda of Olympia, WA; Joyce and Joanne Soliz; Cathy Carpio; and Victor and Veronica Soliz; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Soliz of Austin, TX.
