Obituary of Jean M. Boyce

Jean M. Boyce, 94, went to be with the Lord on Sunday June 17, 2018 at the Village at Lutheran Square, in Erie PA. Her Son and Daughter were at her side. Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies. She met her husband Henry when he was stationed in Trinidad in the US Air Force they were married in February 1945. While in Trinidad she worked in the US Government, White House, POS and Pan American Airways, POS. After her marriage she moved to Plymouth NH until 1979 and then she and Henry moved to Palm Bay, Florida. In Plymouth she worked at the Open Gate Restaurant in the summer and Farley’s Rexall Drug Store in the winter. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #66 for almost 70 years and the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in Plymouth She could be seen at the movie theater when a new show came to town. Growing up she would ride her bike to the theater and see 3 movies a day if she could. After moving to Palm Bay she worked at Sher’s Hallmark (formerly Allen’s) She became an active member of the Church of Our Savior Episcopal Church. Jean was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Adela (Bourne) Phillips, her husband Henry, her brothers, George and Jack. She is survived by her daughter Linda Major and her former husband Peter, Erie, PA, son Charles Boyce, (friend Vicki Swan)Warren NH. Grandsons Kevin Major (Terra) and Charles Boyce Jr. Grand daughters Karen Klimczyk and Jennifer Boyce (Ben Coleman). Great granddaughters, Megan Minlletes (Michael), Cassidy Major, Ciara Major, Grace Klimczyk and Charlotte Klimczyk. Sister Helen Pantin and Brother Keith Phillips. Many wonderful nieces and nephews A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 22, 2019 at the Church of Our Savior 1000 Jersey Lane, NE, Palm Bay, Florida 32905. The family will be greeting friends at 10 with a mass at 11.
