Obituary of Georgiana “JoAnne” Schievink

Georgiana +óGé¼+ôJoAnne+óGé¼-¥ Schievink, 66, passed from this life on Sunday, April 10, 2016 after a long battle with emphysema. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI, and spent most of her adult life there working and raising her family. She spent some very memorable years in Hawaii before returning to Grand Rapids and becoming a mortgage underwriter. She retired in 2002 and moved to Melbourne Beach, FL, where she enjoyed winters and summers at Stony Lake, MI. She devoted her time to her husband, daughters, grandchildren, and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. JoAnne is survived by her husband, Kim Schievink; daughters, Rebecca Severson and Cara (Matthew) Ryan; and four grandchildren.Donations can be made in her memory to the American Lung Association.
