My name is Bob Davis. I was a good friend of dear departed Melissa Fusco, and she and I discussed life, music, problems and more. I tried to help her. We communicated very much by emails and phone conversations. I was very sad to learn of Melissa’s tragic death. I wish to honor her memory this day of April 20th, on this the one year anniversary of her passing. I am glad about all the nice caring posts in this obituary guestbook. I would like to share some memories with some friends and relatives of her. If any of you would like to email or phone me, you may contact me at shiroi31@gmail.com or (650) 948-2209. Thank you and have a blessed day. P.S.: Melissa (Mew), I miss you, peace, comfort and serenity to you, love Bob (Shiroi).

We parted ways a long time ago but I always kept you in my thoughts. I regret so much not reaching out more. You were a defining moment in my life, and a major influence in me finding myself. I’ll live my life more confidently and bravely because I knew you. I know a lot of people will.
Thank you for being a part of my life, Mel.

We only knew each other online, but I felt such a connection with you. A sisterly bond I desperately needed. My biggest regret was not showing you how much you mattered to me, how much I’d find something funny and think you’d probably cackle too. I miss you Mel. I hope you’re feeling better, wherever you are.

It is always hard when someone you care about passes, it is completely unfair when a 32 year old, with as much potential as Melissa had, passes without achieving even half of what she was capable of. Me and Melissa were best friend in High School. She was insanely intelligent and had a zest for life at the time. She was always ready for whatever new adventure was ahead. She had her quirks, but that is what made Melissa so unique. I am just so sad we were never able to connect again because we lived so far apart. I had plans to visit in December and get to finally meet her family. She absolutely loved her family and especially her kids. I pray that they grow up knowing how increadable thier mother was and how much she loved and cared about each one of them. I hope she has found her peace in heaven and is flying with the other angels. She will be very missed.

Melissa… Although we are aunt and niece, we really never got to know each other well. Years and distance separated us, and time has a way of slipping by in an instant. You always think you will have the chance to see each other again; to say the important things… I regret that that time has passed for us. I hope that our occasional chats were enough to let you know I cared. There will always “could have’s, would have’s, should have’s”…just know that you were, and always will be in my heart. Rest in peace. Love, Aunt Nicole

Although we didn’t know each other well, what I did know and see is her love for her children. She wasn’t afraid to express herself and made the dash in her life matter.
My deepest sympathies to the family on the loss of Melissa. Although she is not here with us on earth, she will forever be a presence to ensure everyone is ok. Watch for her in the eyes of her children.

I love you and I will forever miss you!! You were my very best cousin-sister like you used to say!! Kiss Nicholas I know he has missed you!!
The angels looked down from heaven one night
They searched for miles afar,
And deep within the distance
They could see a shining star.
They knew that very instant
That the star was theirs to gain,
So they took you up to heaven
Forever to remain.
Look down on us from heaven
Keep us free from hurt and pain,
You’ll always be within my heart
Until we meet again.
