Obituary of William J. Storms

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we lost a devoted, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. William J. Storms III, formally of Pleasant Valley, NY, age 81, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, November 12, 2018. He was born on September 29, 1937 in Poughkeepsie, New York to the late William J. Storms Jr., and Lena Storms. He enlisted in the marines and served from 1955-1958. He was entitled the Navy Expeditionary Medal for his dedicated service in Lebanon. He loved his country and was proud to have served! He worked at Love Effron Fuel Oil Co. for over 35 years as a Manager. William is survived by his lovely wife of 60 years, Josephine M. Storms; daughter, Mary Ann (Holly) and husband, Matthew P. Bush of Watertown, NY; daughter, Monte M. and her husband Dean Coris of Beacon, NY; son, Louis A. Storms; son Robert F. Storms, both from Pleasant Valley, NY; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son William J. Storms who passed away on September 24, 2016 and his daughter Jodi Peterson who passed away on October  28, 2013.
