To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a “resurrection” back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, “The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises. http://www.JW.org

I thank God for the “gift” of Eddie in my life. What a kind, genuine person he was to all. We struggle with this loss and ask why. Those answers we seek will not be answered in this life, but the next. My strong Catholic beliefs and faith see Eddie in the arms of Jesus Christ . Jesus said, “welcome home Eddie, I love you”. It’s where we all aspire to be when our earthly life is no more. This family has suffered great loss these past several years. Please remember that although Eddie is no longer physically with us, our love for him is carried in each one of our hearts. And so he lives on. May God bless all of you and be assured that your all in my daily prayers. Eddie, pray for us all and our faith assures us of seeing you again in the afterlife.

In the relatively short time I have known Eddie, I found him to be respectful, hardworking and just an overall outstanding young man. This was evident to me by both my own experiences and by the support shown by his family, many friends and co-workers over the past several weeks.
Eddie brought love and joy into my daughter Natalie’s life for which I will be forever grateful. The two of them shared a love which was genuine and full of dreams for the future. It was just a very short time ago that Eddie professed to me his love for Natalie and asked for my blessing to marry her. I gave him my blessing and let him know how honored I felt for him asking. I also let him know that all of Natalie’s family loved him and were very happy that he had come into her life. I can only imagine what a happy life they would have had together.
Natalie, you have been unbelievably strong over these past weeks. As Eddie had recently posted and personally told me, you brought him great joy-you were his Angel. I know there is nothing any of us can say or do that will fill the void Eddie has left in your heart or remove the pain you are now feeling. Just cling to the loving memories; no one can take those away from you. Only time will make the days more bearable. Know that I love you very much and will always be here for you.
Lori and Bill, I cannot even imagine the pain you two are feeling having lost your son. I wish we could have met sooner and shared some happier times. Be proud that Eddie possessed the rare trait of being loved by all who knew him.
