Obituary of Angel Gabriel

Angel Gabriel, 78, passed away from complications of Alzheimer’s. He was surrounded by family and loved ones at his Melbourne, Florida home. Angel Gabriel will be lovingly remembered by his spouse of 56 years, Carmen Gabriel. He is survived by his four sons; Miguel, Juan, Jose, and Raul Gabriel and his ten grandchildren; Renee, Marissa, Paul, Chelsea, Jessica, Isabella, Luke, Iliana, Rachel, and Colin. Born in Puerto Rico, he lived for 45 years in Long Island, New York and was an active parishioner, lector, and driver for Saint Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre, New York. He worked for Nassau County Public School system for 35 years and is fondly remembered by the Floyd B. Watson Elementary School where he dedicated many years of his career. He spent the last 14 years split between Cape Coral and Melbourne, Florida. Funeral Mass will be at 11 am on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1422 Northeast Miller Street in Palm Bay.
