Obituary of David Ryan Lyons

David Ryan Lyons, age 61 of Cocoa, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Friday, August 3, 2018. David was born on January 26, 1957 in Johnson City, Tennessee to Jerry B. Lyons and Charlotte Julian Lyons. He was a permanent resident of Cocoa since 1998. David enjoyed spending time with his family and the company of his many friends and co-workers. He also enjoyed fishing, swimming in the surf at the beach and spending time by the pool. His second home was in Elizabethton, Tennessee where he enjoyed spending time with his extended family, especially his cousin Laverne who was like a brother to him. David was retired from the hospitality and hotel industry. He leaves behind his loving mother Charlotte Grillas; sisters, Jeri Blanco (Michael) and Jan Peckinpaugh (Troy); niece Beatrice Roseann Chamberland (Chris) and great niece Stella Rose along with many beloved uncles, aunts and cousins. He is predeceased in death by his father Jerry B. Lyons; paternal grandparents Edward and Alma Lyons; maternal grandparents Roy O and Beatrice Julian.In lieu of flowers, you may send a donation to Brevard Humane Society 1020 Cox Road, Cocoa, FL 32926 A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 25th 1pm to 4pm at Murdock’s Southern Bistro located at 600 Brevard Ave, Cocoa, FL 32922.
