Obituary of Yvonne Taylor Griffin

Devoted Sister, Aunt and Cousin Yvonne Taylor Griffin, 89, made her transition on Monday, November 4, 2019 in Clermont, Florida. Yvonne was born in Guyana, South America on January 6, 1930 to the late Thomas Heston and Gladys Taylor.  She was the third of four children and the only sister. Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband Douglas and her brothers, Uburn & Heston. Yvonne migrated to the US where she resided in Brooklyn, New York, for many years with her late husband, Douglas Griffin. She loved her family which propelled her to relocate to Palm Bay, Florida to be close to her brother, Uburn. After his passing, she moved to Clermont, Florida to reside with her nephew Andre and his wife Sandra. She is survived by her Eldest brother, Frederick Taylor. Sister-in-laws; Sheila and Margaret. Nieces: Bernice, Laura, Sandra, Margaret, Rubina, Debra, Gretchen, Thelma (Mitch), Pamela and Linda. Nephews: Winslow, Coleridge, Keith, Linden, Robert, Sherville, Michael, Andre, Colin, Shawn, Gilbert, Euburn, Darrell & Martin. Cousins: Shakura, Gloria, Hazel, Tyrone, Alexis, Alana, Rosie, Alex, and a host of relatives including the Griffin family, In-Laws and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 as follows: 12:00 pm – Kingdom Hall Memorial, 3395 Fell Road, Melbourne, Fl. 32904 1:30 pm – Viewing at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road, SE, Palm Bay, Fl. 32907 3:00 pm – Burial at Fountainhead Memorial Park 4:00 pm – Repass – 1500 West Eau Gallie Blvd, Melbourne Florida.
