Obituary of Marilyn C. Grace
In her youth, nicknamed Mickey, she grew up in Detroit, Michigan area. She was schooled by the Immaculate Heart of Mary nuns at St. Mary Academy in Monroe Michigan. Her activities there included dancing, piano, orchestra and drama. Her favorite was dancing. Upon graduation at the University of Detroit, she taught first grade for 15 years.
Marilyn was a late bloomer when she married Walter Grace. They had a passionate, adventurous life moving often and traveling. The last move in 1998 brought them to this coast. Their favorite was Indialantic, FL. Both played golf and partied with friends beachside.
Marilyn+óGé¼Gäós last years were spent exercising, shopping and enjoying wine. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. She will be missed by her furry friends and those she let into her heart.
Marilyn would like to thank all of the many angels who helped bring her peace and dignity at the end of her journey: Dr. Homi Cooper, and wife Eileen, Carolyn Shott, Christine Ditucci and Vitas Hospice. The end is just the beginning.Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on April 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at Ponce de Leon Clubhouse. Funeral arrangements will be made at a later date.
