So sorry to learn of David’s death. I am my normal two weeks behind checking emails, so please pardon my late reply. I am glad Al and I have started coming to the reunions in Knoxville if for nothing else to reconnect with our Mom’s family. David led a good life and was a good man. I would tell people who learned I was from eastern Kentucky not all of us were ignorant, my cousin had married a “fish scientist” so there was some smarts in the family. Judy your family and friends are there for you, but if I can do anything please contact me. Phone 859-338-1259 or 859-264-0630.

Dear Judy, Brian, Greg and families. David was a wonderful person. Talented, smart and funny and above all a decent man. I am glad he was my brother-in-law for over thirty years. I just wish we had more time to share. Leah and I watched some old home videos last night that brought back many wonderful times together in both Florida and Tennessee.
Love
Alan

Judy, Brian, Greg and your families — I am thinking of you this morning. I think I know some of the pain you are feeling. I know that time will help. However, we all have a long road toward that healing.
David was the best Brother you could ask for. We laughed, sang, made jokes, and shared tears. He was a good man — a kind man. The last words we said to one another were: “I love you.” I will always love you, David. I will cherish our growing up together. You will always be here in my heart.
Love,
Leah ( your little sister)

Judy, I will never forget our wonderful visit, on your trip up north, to the Manassas National Battlefield Park, in Virginia, purchasing our senior passes to the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands. And I’m so blessed to have talked to David this month. Evy Cox, on every visit to Johnson City, TN, encouraged me, as a little girl, to continue playing the piano and singing.
I’m here if you need me. Be strong and trust that the sun will shine tomorrow. David will live in my heart forever.
Love,
Brenda (David’s cousin)

Judy and family, I am stunned to hear of David’s passing. I have had all of you on my mind lately and just found out you have been attending Indialantic. I was waiting until after the holidays to contact you. Judy, I am here if you need to talk. Please feel free to contact me. I have missed you both and I am so sorry for your loss. It comforts me to know I will see him again, I hope it does for you as well. Love you always. I am here for you.

Aunt Judy I am so very sorry. I am praying for you and your family. I remember Uncle David talking about Bobby and I being the flower girl and ring bearer at your wedding and I love that picture of us at your wedding. Love and hugs for you and your family from Texas.
