Obituary of Lillian Louise Morgan
Lillian Louise (Queen) Morgan, 86, of Melbourne, FL, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born on July 13, 1929 in Gastonia, NC, to Lois Louise (Cagle) Queen and Samuel Ray Queen. Lillian was a long time resident of Lake Carmel, NY and lived in Walden, NY for several years before relocating to Melbourne, FL. She was a dedicated LPN at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mt. Kisco, NY, for 33 years. Lillian loved to sing and was a faithful member of the Walden Baptist Church choir in Walden, NY. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.
Lillian was a loving mother and is survived by 3 devoted sons: Michael Ray Morgan and his wife, Janette, of Melbourne, FL, Walter Morris Morgan and his wife, Kathleen, of Pawling, NY, and Martin Lee Morgan and his wife, Joanne, of Hood River, OR. She was a cherished grandmother to 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Roberta (Queen) Hanley of Hopewell Junction, NY and Annice (Queen) Lynch of Port St. Lucie, FL, as well as several nieces and nephews.Since services will not be held, the family requests that you please consider making a donation in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
