Obituary of Betty Doyle
Betty Doyle a long time resident of Melbourne, Florida died Wednesday the 15th day of May at home surrounded by her family.
She was born March 1, 1930 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late Gilbert Rowley and Jesse Crandall Rowley. She graduated from Parkersburg High, class of 1948.
Betty worked as a seamstress for Yonkers in Parkersburg. She attended college in Orlando Florida and worked as a legal transcriptionist for Orange County Courts.
She loved poetry, gardening, crocheting, crossword puzzles, baking and all her pets, especially Tuxedo and Talaluha. She had a very compassionate heart and truly enjoyed helping others through her 30 years in AA.
She is preceded in death by her husband William (Boots) Doyle and two sisters Mildred Miller and Romona Rowley.
Betty is survived by four children, Pat Doyle (Letitia) Orlando Fl, Dottie Conway Melbourne Fl, Penny Pepper Melbourne Fl and Jackie (Doug) Rogers Melbourne Fl as well as six grandchildren , Angela, Tim, Debra, Kate, Erin and Danny, she also had 16 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at River Run Church 1660 Croton Road, Melbourne.
