Obituary of Shirlee Mae Carroll

Shirlee Mae Carroll, 92, of Rockledge, FL, passed away at Palm Cottages on Monday, November 24, 2014. Married to her sweetheart, Naval Aviation Pilot Robert J. Carroll for 69 years, she was a devoted Navy wife and mother, enjoying homemaking, family and traveling to new places. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert, son Barry, and brother Don Cameron. She is survived by son Dennis (Janet) of Cedar Key, daughter Barbara Meyer (David) of Merritt Island, FL, sisters Betty Burda and Phyllis (James) Byrnes, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. Donations in ShirleeGÇÖs memory may be made to the Rockledge Presbyterian Church, 921 Rockledge Drive, Rockledge, FL 32955.
