Obituary of Susan O’Bryan

Susan O’Bryan, age 73, born on May 16, 1946 in Mexico MO, passed on Sunday, July 28, 2019 surrounded by her husband and family at Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, FL. She leaves her devoted husband of 37 years, Gary O’Bryan; loving children, Lynn Adams, Cynthia O’Bryan, Deborah (Mark) Gast and Angela (Brian) Anderson; brother, John B. “JB” (Paula) Loewenstein; grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) Adams, Holly (Derek) Fannin and Garrett Anderson; and her only great grandchild, Brady Fannin. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Bess Loewenstein, grandchildren Alexandra and Brayden Anderson. Susan began her career at A. P. Green Refractories in Mexico, MO. in 1982, she married Gary O’Bryan and moved to St. Joseph, MO. where she retired from Snorkel Corporation in 2000 as a computer Project Manager. Upon retirement she moved to Lentner, MO where they raised cattle, moving to Florida in 2011. Susan enjoyed big family dinners, MU football games, golfing, trivia games, traveling and the Wednesday Night Dinner Club. She was a loving person who enjoyed her friends and socializing. Susan will be dearly missed. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a future time.
