Obituary of Carol Ann Melloni

Carol Ann Melloni of Palm Bay died, Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, surrounded by her loved ones. Carol was born in Springfield, MA and resided in FL for the last 26 years. She was a dedicated life member of the VFWGÇÖs Ladies Auxiliary, Post 4643 and was committed to upholding the long history of the VFW. She was also an active member of the Satellite Beach Moose Lodge. Carol was the Bar Manager for the VFW, Post 4643 for many years and enjoyed her many customers that were also friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, NASCAR outings, boating and the relaxed pool lifestyle. Carol is survived by the love of her life Ron Jesmer; her daughters, Tammy Wing (Kevin) of Mystic, CT; Nancy Willie (Augustus) of Melbourne; and son, Jerry Balletti (Jennifer) of Melbourne; grandchildren, Jabina, Sarah, Eric, Evan and Charlie; and her siblings, David, Michael, Angelo and Nancy. Arrangements entrusted to Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, Palm Bay, 724-2224.A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Our Lady of Grace, 300 Malabar Road, S.E., Palm Bay at 11:00 am with a celebration of Carol’s Life at VFW Post 4643, 1252 Highway A1A, Satellite Beach at 2:00 pm.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Carol’s name.
