Obituary of Joan Ray Parks

Joan Ray Parks, 85, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 21, 2016. She was born in New York, New York and after marriage moved to Ridgewood, NJ in 1954. In 1972, she moved with her family to Palm Bay, Florida. Joan was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She retired from JCPenney. She was a life-long Lutheran and a devoted member at Joy Lutheran Church where she served the Lord and helped others through him. She is survived by her daughters Meryl Parks and Chris (Craig) Allebaugh and granddaughters Heather (Sean) Fagan and Cassie (Seth) Compton.A Celebration of Life will be held at Joy Lutheran Church 3174 Jupiter Blvd., SE, Palm Bay, FL on Wednesday, April 27th at 11 a.m. Her family requests that friends attending the celebration wear colorful clothing to celebrate her life. Donations may be made to the Joy Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
