I had the pleasure of knowing Donna for only a few brief years; what a joyful person. I love that she shared her laughter and her knowledge so freely. She made my life better. Donna, your presence is missed.

Donna was a great educator and an inspiration to all who knew her. She immediately made you feel at home and took you in as if you’ve been friends forever. She will be missed by all who knew her. Donna was in the L&D ward about 33 years ago and brought our son into the world. The doctor left to go have dinner over the causeway, and Joe decided it was about time to arrive. Donna knew he was in some distress but calmly, professionally & lightheartedly supported the process, unwrapping the cord from around his neck five times…and, handing him to me. She was wise beyond her years, an “old” soul. I have had the privilege of knowing “Dr. Donna” over the years as an associate and friend and will miss her brightness, tender heart, gorgeous eyes, superior wit, and friendship. I will not forget her.

Donna, I often think of our experiences in Clinical Informatics together. You made learning fun and effortless for all, and always wore a smile. Our Eclipsys trip to Pennsylvania was memorable.
