Obituary of James “Jim” Robert Daly
James +óGé¼+ôJim+óGé¼-¥ Robert Daly, 62, of Palm Bay passed away unexpectedly from complications of a massive heart attack on Sunday April 19, 2015.
Jim was born January 20, 1953 in Anaconda, Montana. He attended local schools and moved to San Jose, California in 1963. He graduated from Lynbrook High School in 1971 and went on to San Jose State College where he earned a BA degree in Physical Therapy in 1976. He remained in the San Jose area and worked for several years at Harry+óGé¼Gäós Hof-Brau Restaurant until he moved to Florida in 2007 to be closer to his family. Jim was employed by Wal-Mart in Palm Bay, Florida. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the friendship and camaraderie of the American Legion posts in Palm Bay.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Robert (Bungo) Daly and his mother Phyllis (Muggs) Daly who were raised in Anaconda, Montana
Jim is survived by three sisters: Betty Ann Buckley and Nancy Aune of Palm Bay, Florida and Bobbie Fiest of Orlando, Florida. In addition, he was loved and will be greatly missed by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be Friday, April 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 950 Malabar Road, Palm Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim+óGé¼Gäós name to American Legion Post 394, Palm Bay, FL 32909 or to a favorite charity.
