To the remaining family and friends of Mr. LaPlante:
I am truly sorrow for your dear loss. Even our Heavenly Father knows the pain that death can bring. But rest assured that He purposes to do away with mankind’s greatest enemy, death, in the very near future. Until then, God will provide the comfort you need to endure these difficult times. So pour out your hearts to Him in prayer, and He will help you.

It was such a blessing have known and ministered with your Dad, Ed LaPlante for more than 20 years at Stanton Memorial Baptist Church. He was always so eager to go and to help out in numerous overseas mission trips to both Dominican Republic and Haiti. His multiple skills and knowledge of construction was always very useful in helping the work team get the job done regardless of our circumstances and difficulties. The many things he did at Stanton are too numerous to remember them all. He will be greatly missed but his legacy will live on through all of us who knew him and were inspired by his love for God and for others. Our prayers will continue to be with you. I consider a great honor to be able to share some words of encouragement at Bro. Ed’s graveside service tomorrow.
