Oh, G!! I’m so saddened by this news but know you are in a better place! You were loved by many and will be missed. You were already missed when you retired. I don’t know what I could say that others haven’t already said but I mirror everything that has been said. Good man, good friend, loyal, dedicated and the best attitude in all situations. This news is still unbelievable but my prayers go out to the family and hope you find comfort in knowing how many loved G and respected him.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of “G”. I spent many nights at Taylor CI, working with him in one of the toughest environments a person could work in. He never let our environment get him down, and he could always be counted upon for a good laugh… either at him or with him. He made the tough times a little easier and was always there if a friend needed him. My condolences go out to his primary relatives and family members, because he was a member of another family who’s numbers are growing smaller as the years go by. Those of us who walked those floors with him on a nightly basis have lost yet another member of our exclusive family. Love ya “G”.

So sorry to hear this! My thoughts and prayers are with his family. He was a great Sergeant and always strived to do his best and look out for fellow staff. He was part of a special group of people that had a bond and connection that were more like family than co-workers. That is demonstrated in several of the previous comments by some of these people that were part of this group. He will always hold a special place and created some special memories for me! Rest easy brother!
