Obituary of Rasilaben Jayprakash Trivedi
Rasilaben Jayprakash Trivedi, 69, passed away at home in Indian Harbour Beach, Florida on Monday, July 1, 2019.
Born in Sinhjiwala, Gujarat, India, she was the oldest child of Ramanlalbhai and Shantaben Yagnik. During her school years, she was a talented student athlete with an affinity for mentoring younger students. She began teaching at the local Palej High School, where her father was the Headmaster. She then attended Mumbai University before graduating from Gujarat College in Baroda, India.
Rasilaben migrated to the United States in the early eighties and spent the most time in her home state of Florida. Rasilaben was always a positive, adventurous person with a tremendous zest for living. She was a very devout person, who never said no to volunteering at the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple. In retirement she enjoyed caregiving for her family, especially her grandchildren, and volunteering at the various BAPS Temples.
She and her husband Jayprakash were married for 45 years. In addition to Jayprakash, she leaves behind 2 children, their spouses, 2 grandchildren, and many beloved members of her extended Trivedi, Patel, Yagnik, Jani, and Pandya families.
Her service will be at 10 am on Thursday, July 4th at Ammen Family Cremation and Funeral Care, 1001 S. Hickory St. in Melbourne.
