So happy to have known Jodi– even for a short time. She was such a special person and brought joy to those around her. My heart goes out to Rob as well as Jodi’s family. Loss is always very difficult, but somewhere over the rainbow, I know Jodi is smiling and waiting there to hug her loved ones. Sleep peacefully until that dawn.

Dear Rob,
I am so sorry to learn of your deep loss. I hope you remember how much laughter you brought to your friends in the Kingston area and that you don’t lose that very precious part of you. (Yes, many years ago, but I still remember, including good times at the Barnsider.)I was very glad that you found that special someone to share many years of your lives together. That counts for a lot – to have shared so many good years together. God’s blessings to you, her family, and your circle of friends.

Jodi, I can’t believe you’re gone. We had 21 wonderful years together, and I don’t regret a day of it. I loved you like I never loved anyone else in my life, and I felt your love so strong I never had any doubt that you loved me. We just grew together with each passing day, with each kind word, with our morning, dinner-time, and evening kisses. We hugged, we smiled, we held hands. We trusted each other, we respected each other, and we were kind to each other, all necessary ingredients for a successful relationship. We traveled much, probably spending a couple years together, all told, in our three motorhomes. My eyes tear and my heart aches that we’ll never hug again, because you were my everything.
I asked you a couple of weeks ago, out of all we’ve done together over the 21 years, what would you do differently, and you said, “Nothing.” And I feel exactly the same way. If I’m never happy again, the memories of my happiness with you will sustain me forever.
Barbara sent a card with the following quote from Charles Dickens:
“And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one creature makes a void in any heart, so wide and deep that nothing but the width and depth of eternity can fill it up!”
Sleep peacefully, my love, because when I join you I will wake you up and hug you forever, filling that void.
With all my love forever,
Rob

Cousin Jodi. Even though we did not see each other in our later years, I have fond memories of our play times on the farm. Since most of our cousins were boys, we kind of stuck together. I also have memories of you and I playing together when you lived in Astoria. Rest in peace Jodi.Condolences to Rob, Paul,John and rest of the family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Josephine sounds like a very strong woman having fought all those horrible illnesses. Please take comfort in knowing our heavenly father sees your pain and all the suffering we experience. But this won’t go on forever. Revelation 21:4 assures us that “he will wipe out every tear… and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore…” In the very near future pain, suffering, and even death will be a thing of the past. God even promises us that we’ll see our dead loved ones again. (John 5:28,29) I truly hope you find some comfort in this at this difficult time.

Dear Lovely Jodi,
What a wonderful person, thank you for all the encouraging words and thoughts you gave to me during our time together in the NTM support group.
No matter how you were feeling, that smile of yours never went south.
And you were always encouraging to all of us.
Without your support I never would have had the strength to go to National Jewish . I truly thank you for that……
