Aloha Rick,
I know that you can hear me. You were the best, and you made it easy for us to make the transition from Lompoc, to Melbourne…knowing that we had a friend who could show us the ropes. Sitting at your pool, watching the Super Bowl, or eating Rudy Soup at our house, you made everyone feel special and like an old friend. Thank you for being a good friend. We will miss you. What a wonderful father you were! Your positive attitude was always an inspiration. You were the kindest human being I knew. I am so grateful for all the years you were with us. You grabbed life and lived each day to the fullest. I know you were happy and fulfilled surrounded by great friends and family, pursuing your hobbies and passions daily. Your repertoire of hobbies was impressive; fishing, boating, trap shooting, woodworking, flying, cooking, entertaining, MAC, giving parties and attending them! We were all impressed you got your pilot’s license in your 60’s! You were a loving grandfather to Chase, Sasha and Gia. To the greatest dad ever, thank you for everything, I love you and miss you with all my heart. We will see you in heaven!

Rick was one of the nicest guys and always had a smile on his face. I remember how excited he was when he found out he could transfer to Florida and work our contract. It sounds like he had a wonderful life and that is the way it should always be. Rest in peace Rick!! My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
